The Rhode Island Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Foundation, the Rhode Island Judiciary, and the Rhode Island Police Chiefs’ Association, with support from the Rhode Island Department of Education and Roger Williams University School of Law, are sponsoring the Contest open to 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Rhode Island resident students attending school in Rhode Island.
This year’s essay topic is The Constitution’s Promise, Out of Many, One. The topic teaches students the importance to explore and recognize how The United States Constitution embodies our collective responsibility to one another and urges us to take pride in a Constitution that bridges our differences to bring us together as One, one united nation, The United States of America.
