This past Saturday, Science Teacher, Greg Rowe and Special Educator, Jason Huddon took two Pilgrim students, Andre Diel and Dominick Sebastiao to compete at the 5th Annual Wind Turbine Commpetion at CCRI. They designed blades for maximum efficiency, environmental siting requirements and got interviewed by several judges on their approach to the competition. Special thanks also goes out to Tech Ed teacher, Walter Guest, for helping out with the wood molding of turbine blades. Fun day Saturday seeing our kids compete!

Heidi's Boutique and Holly's Closet are collaborating on a Prom Event that will be held at Pilgrim on March 26th at 2 pm in the cafeteria. Pilgrim 11th and 12th graders will be able to come look at an assortment of prom attire.

As our head clerk, she is the heart of Pilgrim and we would not be able to run without her!


Congratulations to Brandon Wolfenden who competed in the New England Regional Track and Field Competition this past Saturday. He placed second in the shot put with a throw of 61 feet, 3 3/4 inches, breaking his own school record by almost three feet!
Great Job!!!

Congratulations to the students who competed in the Rhode Island Forensics League Debate States Tournament this past Saturday at Barrington High School:

Our teams fiercely competed against 11 schools.
Our top individual was recognized with a certificate: Coming in 18th out of 76 students: August Pittman
And a special recognition to the following debaters who took home a team trophy: out of 36 teams Pilgrim placed 2 in the top 5!

5th place team: Addison Mendoza
We are incredibly proud of the growth these students have shown through our first tournament season. What an amazing group of students!!

We are sad to say that one of our night custodians, Norm Plante, passed away Wednesday morning. He loved his work here at Pilgrim, the students and his music that you could hear through the hallways while he worked. You will be greatly missed by your Pilgrim family!

We are happy to announce that 3 outstanding singers were recognized last night at the School Committee Meeting. They have made it into very prestigious ensembles both regionally and nationally. We are proud of these three ladies: Audrey Kuiawa, Addison Eaton, and Allie Cameron.
Audrey Kuiawa (grade 12) made it into the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) ALL-EASTERN HONOR CHOIR which will perform in April in Hartford, CT. Only 2 other RI students made this ensemble.
Addison Eaton and Allie Cameron (both grade 10) have made it into the American Choral Director Association NATIONAL HONOR CHOIR. They auditioned and were chosen from over 3000 top singers from across the country! They will be performing in March in Dallas, TX.
Congratulations ladies!


The Class of 2026 is holding a Valentine's Day Oreo Fundraiser. They will be sold during all 4 lunches from February 10 - 13 and delivered to advisory's on February 14th. The cost is $1.50.
